3. A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOTHER BY OGERI ISU

A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOTHER

There is time to everything and a season for every activity under heaven and a time to be born and to die, a time to weep and to laugh.

I know there is nothing better for you mama than to be happy and do good while you are alive. Sweet mother, you were a mother in a million.

Oh, death! So you are as wicked as this! My beloved mother, you took from me. Thank God for this wonderful mother, you like serving God and humanity selflessly. A star has gone out of me, but my joy is that many have testified about your goodness, I love you so much and I will never forget you, it is so painful that you suffered so much on a sick bed, though I was made to know that you will not survive with that kind of sickness, but why have you not wait for my son’s (Michael) appreciation.

Oh, death what has my famous and gentle mom done to you that you easily took her away from us? Mama, the shocking news of your departure from this world was painful, sudden, and totally unexpected. I know death is the necessary end of every man living on this earth, but Mom why so soon? Mom, look for Uncle Micheal, Uncle Effiom, my father, and the rest greet them for me till the resurrection.

Mom, I am not all that surprised because I know that sometimes, this is how expectations fall into anxiety and anxiety falls in greed and greed falls into feathers.

I will miss u Mom, till the resurrection morning when mortals will become immortals.

Adieu beloved mom

Rest in the bosom of the Lord

Ogeri Isu (Daughter)

4. TRIBUTE TO MY SWEET MOTHER BY EYONG CARTAGE

A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOM

Mummy, writing this tribute is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Where and what I am today to a large extent has to do with the words you drummed into my young heart, words that made me believe in myself and made me make decisions that enabled me to take on the challenges of living day to day.

Through good and bad times, no matter what, I will always remember you mom because there will never be another to replace you.

Good night mom.

Eyong Ibiang Cartage (From your son)

5. TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED DADDY By Lucky

TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED DADDY

A moment in time, truly birth and death is a moment in time, on the one hand, joy and the other hand sadness, but both have hope in common in hope for early life and in hope for eternal life, which god that cannot lie has promised before the world began (Titus 1:2).

My beloved father, it is still very hard to comprehend that you are gone, I was confused, in shock, and sleepless night wondering why you had left us without saying goodbye.

Well, I just have to accept reality and get acquainted with the idea of death and what it means for those of us left behind, you faced your responsibility as a good father and gave  me the best education as a child, you thought me how to face life’s challenges as a man, you believed so much in hard work as an achiever in life with many accomplishments,

What is the measure of a man is it the amount of money he has? The possession he owns and the power he holds? Is it professional success he has achieved over the years? I don’t believe it is any of these things, this true measurement of a man is how much love he gives, how selflessly he shares whatever he can to help others, and how consistently he lifts up those around him with his good deeds, by this measure, and my father was exceptional and immeasurable.

I lost my father but only in the body, not spirit, this is by far the most painful, heart-ripping, and life-altering experience I’ve endured but I remain grateful to God and comforted knowing how much my beloved dad positively affected the lives of others

Oh, my dad, my dad, so I will never hear your voice, see your face or see your smile again. I love you and always will, you filled a space that is irreplaceable, as you depart from this earth, I wish you could have stayed forever but I will never forget you as a father.

6. TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED DAD Mrs. Maureen Nweke

A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED DAD

Dad, you were such a peaceful father, oh death, why did you take my beloved father away from me, dad we told you we are coming in August only to hear you have passed away.

Dad, you were a peace-maker, you are the lovely dad I have ever seen, the best father I would ever think of, having you beside me is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, especially in my upbringing and education, what a loving and caring dad you were to me.

Truly you possess all it takes to be called a father, but death could not allow you to reap much of what you sow.

May your peaceful soul travel with God. Rest in peace, Amen.

Mrs. Maureen Victoria Nweke

7. TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED FATHER BY ETENG OMINI

TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED FATHER

I did many prayers in the hospital to see whether the Almighty God can transform you to your normal health. But to no avail, the sickness became worsen, till when we were given a referral on the 9th day of July to be taken the next day to Calabar but that same faithful night, you gave up to your demise. The Lord has given and he has taken.

Rest in the bosom of the Lord till we shall meet to part no more.

Adieu papa
