A TRIBUTE TO OBIN PILLAR

Okwo, it’s a sad thing that you are no more with us, little did we know that you will be gone too soon without reaping the fruit of your labour in the Obin Association, Ugep.

You were the best dancer in the Obin Association, Ugep. You won an award in 2014 /2015 as the best dancer in Obin.

3. LEGION OF MARY HOLY CROSS PARISH, UGEP

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

On behalf of the cause of our joy presidium Holy cross parish Ugep, I write to console you and your sister.

The news of the call to the glory of your beloved sister came to us as a great shock as we earnestly prayed for her recovery but is best known to God almighty.

However, we want you to see her departure as a divine call from God our creator. It is not how long a man lives but how well. Therefore,  we console in the fact that God knows everything and that your great friend, sister had completed her race on earth.

Although we have pains in our hearts because we are going to miss her the same way we miss our member‘s, motherly, and sister’s advice to us,

Therefore, we should not weep as those without hope but join us in prayers that God may grant her soul eternal rest and may the good Lord forgive her, and her sins committed during her journey through this world and receive her gentle soul and the souls of our departed legionaries and the souls of all faithful departed through the mercy of God.

Rest in Peace, Amen.

4. FAREWELL, A GREAT SOLDIER OF THE CROSS

FAREWELL, A GREAT SOLDIER OF THE CROSS

Oh, how time flies and the moment passes by that we fellowshipped with you only for a brief moment. You were a real soldier of the cross, a loving and humble brother.

Our fellowship with you in Calabar was very short but interactive with accompanied beams of smiles. Your special salute to young and old has been very memorable.

Truly, it is not how long you live, but how impactful your life has been to others. The news of your sudden departure brought pain and great shock.

We sympathize with your family on your departure and will continue to pray to God to fill the gap and comfort them. We will ever cherish the sweet memories of you.

ADIEU, our precious brother.

Rest in peace on the bosom of Abraham until we meet to part no more. AMEN

5. TRIBUTE TO A LIFE WELL-LIVED

TRIBUTE TO A LIFE WELL-LIVED

As a son, you were on earth; you believed the message of the hour.

You lived a life always ready to help, you lived a life without prejudice.

The news of your demise touched our hearts. We had seen you a few days before your call to glory when you told us that you came for treatment in Calabar.

We prayed to believe, it will be well, but God had his best plan for you. He took you home to reward you for all your labors on earth.

I can remember the times you taught us in Sunday school, you always tried to be in church even on Wednesdays’ Services after your work.

I can remember how you prayed diligently during the prayer meetings we usually have. I remember how you prayed for ministers, the church, our lives, and the filling of the Holy Ghost in our lives.

All these we believe are exactly according to God’s timing and plan in your life. You have completed your work on earth at the time appointed by Him.

We pray that our Father who is in heaven will keep and sustain your family in His love, and provide for them in their time of need.

Adieu, our precious brother until we meet to part no more.

Bro. Godwin Udosen and family

Headstone Bride Tabernacle, Calabar.

6. A TRIBUTE TO A PATRIOT

A TRIBUTE TO A PATRIOT

It pricked my heart to write and read a tribute to yet a diligent, resourceful, and patriotic young officer, Late Inspector. (CCA) Iwara Ofem Ikpi.

You served in all situations and circumstance with resentment, your moral decency have made me call you a paragon. I know You to hate evil, cheating, and other illicit practices.

You were a natural man that is why you were humble, respectful, loving, and caring. These attributes also earned you the love of others.

Your departure has triggered sorrow, grief, anxiety, and anguish in our minds. Endless tears have flowed from our eyes and we refuse to be comforted. You were good.

Death has eluded us with a wonderful and admirable smile.

I bid you farewell.

James, Samuel

Divisional Officer, Yakurr

7. TRIBUTE TO A CLOSE COLLEAGUE AND A FRIEND

TRIBUTE TO A CLOSE COLLEAGUE AND A FRIEND

“There is a time and season to everything under heaven. A time to born and a time to die” Ecc. 3:1-2.

In between these, you lived a fulfilled life, though you left this sinful world at a very tender age full of youthful blood.

You fought a good fight which you never finished, but I have no doubts that there is a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the incorruptible and the righteous judge will crown you as you return back to him; because he alone knew why he called you at this age.

Ofem! Our good friend of outstanding qualities, a peaceable man in a world of hate and crisis, a man of integrity, a contentious and ebullient man, full of benevolence and dexterity; Why! Why!!

Despite all the challenges of life you faced in this world of lack, you kept a calm disposition and strong faith in God; a life worthy of emulation determined to succeed. But nature, no one can challenge.

Brother; your love for education and selfless service to God and humanity endear you to stand tall among your contemporaries. To God be the glory as you choose Jesus Christ.

He is the way, the truth, and the light

We miss you so dearly.

Rest in the bosom of our Lord, till we meet to part no more!!!

Bye.

Enang Benjamin Igiri
