Eze Okoi Utum and Mary Kokei Onen have emerged winners of the Mr. and Miss Leboku 2023





WINNERS OF THE MR AND MISS LEBOKU 2022

As we all know, the Ugep Leboku Festival also known as the Yakurr International Festival always showcases so many talents, events, cultures, and memories. Mr. and Miss leboku contest is not an exception. Every year forms are sold to male and female indigenes of the Ugep community. These forms are used to indicate interest in participating in either Mr. Leboku as a male or Miss Leboku as a female.

Just like other years, the year 2023 leboku festival has come and gone with lots of goodies and memories. The Mr and Miss leboku content also took place on the 19th of August, 2023 and the following results were obtained:

In the Male Category: 

Eze Okoi Utum, a graduate who studied Business Education in the University of Calabar, Calabar, who hails from Lekpankom in Ijiman council ward in Ugep knocked out six other male contestants to become the reigning Mr. Leboku 2023.

Though it was not an easy decision, as all the contestants did very well, it was not easy to decide the winner, but in all, Eze Okoi Utum was announced the Winner of the Mr. Leboku Festival 2023.

In the female Category:

Miss Mary Kokei Onen, a 200 level student, studying nursing in Cross River State College of Nursing and Midwifery Itigidi, who hails from the Ikpakapit council ward in Ugep knocked out four other female contestants to become the reigning Miss Leboku 2023.

1ST RUNNER UP OF MR AND MISS LEBOKU 2023

After a very powerful and wonderful contest, Mr. Ukum Benjamin Ofem won the First runner-up (2nd Position) of Mr. Leboku 2023 in the male category. Mr Ukum Benjamin Ofem hails from Biko Biko council Ward in Ugep, Yakurr LGA.

While Miss Kokole Gift Williams won the First runner-up (2nd Position) of Miss Leboku 2023 in the female category. Miss Kokole Gift Williams hails from Ijom council Ward in Ugep, Yakurr LGA of Cross River State.

2ND RUNNER UP OF MR AND MISS LEBOKU 2023

Mr. Ephraim Okoi Arikpo won the Second runner-up (3rd Position) of Mr. Leboku 2023 in the male category. Mr Ephraim Okoi Arikpo hails from Ikpakapit council Ward in Ugep, Yakurr LGA.

While Miss Blessing Eteng Effiom won the Second runner-up (3rd Position) of Miss Leboku 2023 in the female category.

Miss Blessing Eteng Effiom hails from Ijiman council Ward in Ugep, Yakurr LGA of Cross River State.

Note: The position of the winners also lasts for a period of one year with a benefit of a free car for life, and the winners automatically become the ambassador of the Leboku Festival for the year.
